Hi, Angelo Petersen here!
My Luke 10 experience.
When we (De Necker, Henro and I) arrived in Mae Sot(In Thailand next to the Myanmar border) we didn’t know what the Lord expected us to do. We heard about a farmhouse school and we wanted to go and seek out our ‘man of peace’ there. But we couldn’t find it. Then we took a moment to pray together and ask the Lord exactly where he wanted us to go. We then found a hospital and felt we should go there and pray for the people there. We then found a nun and she told us about the Mae Sot clinic. We then took another moment to pray and felt that God wanted us to go to the clinic. We went there and there we found our ‘man of peace’.
One of the women working
there instantly started organizing a place for us to stay, food, extra clothes etc. What a miracle!
We started the next morning doing some volunteering work, cleaning the offices, moving furniture, wiping floors and windows etc. After work we spent time with young men who are refugees that fled from the war in Myanmar(Burma). It was nice to help out with some physical work as well us sharing with them the Word of God.
At the clinic there were a lot of people that had intense injuries obtained from the war in Myanmar. It was heart breaking to see these people sitting there, some of them in wheel chairs, some of them just lying in their beds day and night.
Throughout this journey
God showed me certain things. He showed me that He will always provide in all my needs. Trust in Jesus, it is all that matters and your life will never be the same. There is only one way to trust Him:
Just have faith and believe, when you call out His name.
