Panajachel challenge - White Team v1!

Thursday-morning in rainy Panajachel, a day like any other, time for work right

Think again. True to the name us Global Challengers were given a challenge for the day! Having challenged a few times in our small team today things were shaken up a bit. Instead of challenging in our respective small teams, the white team had the privilege to embark on the adventure through Panajachel and its neighbouring towns.

Take a little bit of green, pink and purple and what do you get, the amazing white team!

The day was filled with many different memories, taking as much as possible photo's with tuk-tuks created a lot of laughs; from us and onlookers. We found three Pedro's to share the gospel with which is a feat in itself. (Walking through the market and streets with a "Donde est Pedro?!" and then the pure joy of finding a Pedro! :) ) some soccer with the beautiful Guatemalan children and visiting towns in the vicinity.  Trying new fruit and meeting gringo's with whom we could have some really meaningful conversations, just being the light we are called to be. Seek and you shall find, right? Barney the dinosaur was the treasure and man did we look for him. We found Fred Flinstone, Shrek, Barbie and Woody... until finally the purple guy graced us with his presence!

All of this done to the beautiful background of Lake Atitlan, waterfalls, the volcanoes, the colourful people and fruitmarkets. Thank you Lord

Now all that awaits is the one challenge we've been postponing, a swim in the beautiful lake, we'll see whether the courage holds. The cherry on the cake was a cup of coffee with the missing ingredient in our team, Maxine. What a great way to consolidate and celebrate the great times we've had as White team; praying, sharing and digging into the word through the year. Grateful!
