We have started the year's journey with the first two weeks in Jeffrey's bay. I had to learn that I am leaving everything behind. Everything that I have built up for the last couple of years... my friends, the comfort of my home, the safe environment and everything that is familiar to me.
The hardest part for me by commencing on this journey is to leave everything in the hands of God and to trust God completely for His provision... a huge step of Faith... and also a new chapter in my life!
I am so thankful to God that I have already met new friends and fellow team mates. What a privilege that I can participate in a mission trip around the world with people with the same goal and heart for people. People in the need for hope and love in this world. We as a team have already grown into a family in Christ.
Throughout this time I also realized that everything is in the mighty hands of God and that He does things according His way and on His appropriate time…that God loves me and desires intimate times with me.
This year I desire God's will for my life... and to get to know HIM more.
