My Journey

How wonderful my journey has been so far I can't even put in words, But I'll try.

Guatemala was supposed to be our first country, but God had planned for us to stay a week in London, Uk.

We had our first challenge in London and even on the first day. It was quite a shock because I really didnt expect it. The challenge was that we had to find a venue and preach the gospel to a group of people in an organized setting. So of we went praying first and asking the Lord to direct us to our divine appointment. We found ourselves looking at a map of the area we were in and saw that there was a salvation army church just around the corner, we knew that this was it. So we went there and asked if we could help with anything and perhaps share something with a group of people. There was a lunch and tea for elders at the church and we had the privilege of sharing our testimonies with them and sing a song or two.

The only thing that was a bit of a problem was that we didn't have a place to rest our heads for the week in London, but nothing is a problem for our Lord and He provided a place to stay and 3 meals per day through lovely friends of my sister's husband. They really welcomed us with open hearts and I'm so thankful for them.

Guatemala was amazing, I learned so much and experienced God in a whole new way. I remember one day we did street ministry, splitting up in groups of two and walking through the streets of Panajachel looking for people to minister to. Me and Erns didn't really know where to go so I stopped and said lets pray and ask the Lord where we should go and to whom we should minister to. I received a vision of a guy wearing a blue shirt, so we walked along feeling that we should walk down to the lake. We met up with our friends sitting by the lake side busy praying for a guy wearing a blue shirt. So I ended up ministering to him. What a wonderful experience it was to hear God speak to me like that for the first time. Similar kind of visions led us to various people that needed prayer for healing and so forth.

The Holy Spirit gave me revelation upon revelation through the teachings we received from the pastor in Panajachel, it is such a privilege to experience the joy that the Lord gives you through revelations.

Some of the "of the record experiences" in Guatemala I had was things like really really crazy bus rides, trust me when I say a chicken bus ride is way more exhilarating than any roller coaster i've taken. We had the privilege of climbing one of Guatemala's 36 volcanos and it was awesome to braai a marshmallow on our Fathers Braaier.

God is good all the time keep your faith in Him..

With love Hanno
