The Journey through my eyes

.The Journry through my eyes

Songs of solomon 3.5

“do not stir up nor awaken love until it pleases”

I have seen the spark

I threw gas on it

It burnet for weeks

That was not the plan

I give my life and trust You with all I have

I fought to keep it burning

I turned my back on the Master without knowing

I was blinded but now see

It is written “”Do not stir up nor awaken Love until it pleases ”

I was selfish and not open so I give you to my Lord

Until it pleases Him

He will give me

Matt 6.33

“Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added on to you”

Johovah Qanna “The Lord is Jealous”

You are in control Oh Lord

I give You all and I will wait on You

My shield is broken

I stand vulnerable before You

I have never felt  this way before

Peace is at my doorstep

I will love You for evermore

Oh Lord of Lords

This started a whole new side of me. I realised I was turning my back from my God and that I didnt trust Him with everything I have.

In that time our team realised that our unity wasnt sorted out. So we went to a small village called Amsmiz to go have some time to sort out our differences.

So there we were sitting for a few days  in a house surrounded by cactisis  and wet  landscapes  on the foothills of the Atlas mountains.

Our journey almost ended or began from there....

We went from there to Dakhla  in the Western Sahara and spent a few nights there debriefing and praying. I was struggling to  concentrate and I really realized that im not trusting the Lord with everything in my life. It was there that I received Freedom from my allergies plus I could concentrate more.

Mauritania

Do you know how it feels

To be hunted like a dog

Like lambs to the slaughter

Every night sleeping somewhere else

Fear creeps in like a dessert storm

Hope fades away

Times are harsh

water is scares

But Gods love will always be there

Do you know how it feels

To have persecution at your doorstep

and darkness all around

Let Living waters come in and revive the land.

We soon left to Mauritania and had a very long but great drive through the dessert. No wait I must say that I had an awesome drive because I sat in the front seat.

n

The border was a breeze, our Taxi drivers told us where to go and where not to go.

We got to Nouakchott and It is there where I stood in Faith for my Life.

I had allergies towards fish and for the first time in 5 years  I had fish and it was delicious

After that we went to the fish market and experienced the sunset over the sea.

Senegal

Senegal really  was a breath of fresh air. We immediatly used our freedom of religion.

It was the first time the men could ware shorts and the whole team could evangelize as much as we want.

We were welcomed by Pastor Akin an his family and enjoyed a very nice meal.

We were asked to help at a local church prepare food for their harvest fest. And thats where it all began...

The girls made fruit baskets and the men started cooking.

While I was  boiling the chicken and then frying them, Stoffel was doing what he does best,,, Braaing, and Abel was cleaning fish.

We worked the whole day and whenever you stopped, you would get screamed at by a very charming lady trying to hook the men up with her daughters.

We went to a missionary base in Rao which was started by a Brazilian man,

Pastor Ruben came to Senegal 15 years ago Just doing what God told him to do

He started by feeding the Talibe kids (deciples of the quran )

He started by feeding just one kid, the next day 2 kids and so it multiplied until after 2 weeks he fed up to 50 kids and washing them.

Paster Ruben said there is 6 people that came to christ in Rao and my  thoughts were:”Only 6!!! thats nothing ”. but my mind Immediatly changed when I saw what Pastor Ruben is doing. He left his whole life and chose to go live in Rao and just became part of the community and through that evangelizing by building friendships and really being JESUS to the people.

Our days in Rao was awesome. We had kids Ministry and womens ministry and both was such a blessing to us. We shared a bit 2 much with the Kids and the Saturday that they had to come, there wasnt a lot of them so we learnt that there should be levels of sharing and with that more time

Gods story in my Life

Over the past month and a half God has really been speaking to me through the things that I do and my thoughts and dreams.

With every dream that I have God reminds me of all the things I still need healing and He heals,

Every thought that is not from God is  washed away.

The biggest challenge was my perception of God.

I know that God is my Master and Lord but I could never see Him as my Father, by that I had to see my earthly father as my very best friend and then God took his place as my father that I could come and just talk to when I needed him.

I love my Father and without Him I cant do anything
