Sarah and I were sitting on the plane and waited for the air hostess to bring the aisle-wheelchair so that we can start our two weeks holiday in South Africa.
Our entry into Cape Town with 1 Time was quite impressive but the only wheelchair-friendly kombi I was able to rent, got stolen a week before our flight! The next best thing was a Toyota Condor...
This was two years ago and it made me discover the need for wheelchair accessibility in South Africa and the desire to give them the same privileges we have.
At first it looked so easy and things fell into my lap, but this vision got interrupted by something that first had to be part of my life called: Global ChallengeExpeditions!
I never knew how God wanted me to fit this in with ministry so I easily ditched the big idea.
Jonah wasn't able to run from Him and neither was I...
While working for Global Challenge in Jeffreysbay I was able to go to a disable school in Port Elizabeth and never have I seen such small miracles!
The children from the age of about 4 are being supported by hand made equipment and the desire to experience.
This day, along with some conversations directly lead by God, awoken that dream again and I am more convinced that this is a piece of His heart that can not be ignored. Hopefully this shall be part of Global Challenge Expeditions as I am still working on the logistics! I am extremely excited and shall keep you updated!
But first... the Global Challenge Expedition Roadtrip!
