Phillipines-H's blessing time

Maayong Buntag everyone aayong hapon/gabii depending on the time of day you are reading my blog
From me: Greeting in the Name of Jesus!
We are now working with the Church of God Arise children’s camp on Olango Island in

the region of the Philippines on one of 7000 + Islands here. The Philippi no, people are really lovely and we have enjoyed getting to know their cultural traits and being a part of their lives the past 8 days.

Working very hard again: digging and smashing through feet of rock and coral, so fence posts can be planted. We prepared the ground and space for another team to now come in and physically put the fence around the campground for the children. This presents many challenges and back breaking efforts of been able to build anything.

My hands are so sore and full of blisters. I don’t think I’ve ever worked so hard in my life. The heat of the sun and tropical humidity is really something. But like I’ve said before (Werk maak sterk!!!)

I had the wonderful privilege of preaching a Gospel message a few times at the evening crusades and proclaim Jesus Christ is Lord!! Greater is He that is in me, then he that is in the world. How amazing seeing many people receiving Christ/be healed/ experience the presence of God through a touch of the Holy Spirit at the crusades.

It’s wonderful, amazing, awesome to spend 24/7 in the presence of God. This costs dedication and a deliberate choice everyday from me.

One night before the crusade I prayed and asked the Lord to anoint me. To speak His word to the people: This is what the Lord have me: Isaiah 61:1 It was an awesome revelation. The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon me, for the Lord has anointed me to

bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to comfort the brokenhearted and to proclaim the captives will be released and prisoners will be freed.

We also enjoy fun time, swimming each day after hard work in the clean blue water of the South China Sea Wow!!!! (dis nou alles die moeite werd)

Lastly – Learning from the local Pastors, true servant leadership and service to the community.

Well my friends in Christ, this is all for now, from me. May our Good Lord bless you and keep you until, we meet again. If not here on earth, then in heaven.
