Base Camp - The A Team!

We can only describe the day we've had so far as absolutely crazy, bizarre, hectic and very intense (fun!!).

We set out this morning at 8 o'clock, with one A4 paper stating detailed tasks for the day - to be documented by photographs as proof.

The first couple of tasks we managed to do quickly: Sand papering a wooded balcony while reading Luke chapters 1 -  3 out loud, decoring a cake and washing out first of ten cars for the day.

Then we went in search of the elusive "Sandkasteel", convinced that we must find a sand structure on the beach. After jogging and hitch hiking back and forth through town for almost an hour, we finally managed to find the "Sand kasteel" - a hotel!

There we where treated with a can of Coke - but we first had to find it! 10 Coke cans were hidded in a large square of sand! Unfortunately  we had to rearrange the entire beach for quite some time before finally finding our can!

We hitched  a ride with Barries to Cape Union and he was kind enough to take us to Humansdorp where we had to share our cake with someone whose birthday is in January!

Back in J-bay, we visited the Ithemba primary school and prayed over the devasted buildings and structures. After that we went to visit the ladies at the old age home, Jeffereysrus.

Seeing that we are still busy, and this blog is part of the challenge, we will have to run!!!

To be continued...
