Imperfectly perfect

The world is telling you a lie. The world's image of perfection is NOT what we must strive for. We must strive for being in a relationship with God. Strive to get to know Him. For God is perfect and in His eyes we are perfect. No person could ever be perfect like Him.

I have a ring that symbolizes the way God sees us:
* There is a small flaw in the jewel (we all have flaws)
* There is a small crack in the body of the ring (our physical body is not perfect and never looks the same as others)
* There are two cracks in the jewel (we all have been in a place, in our lives, where we were broken and longing for something)
* The ring is round, never ending (God's Love for you is never ending and God's Love is Perfect)
* The ring fits perfectly (we fit in God's picture perfectly)
* To me this ring is perfect (God sees You as perfect)

I have always tried to be a perfect person: perfect body, perfect lifestyle, perfect image. From that I had always felt unworthy and not good enough.

Since the beginning of training God had showed me that trying to be perfect is earthly and not what He wants us to strive for, because if we try to be perfect we always focus on ways to be perfect.

God is taking me on this journey to build an amazing relationship with Him, be His hands and feet on this earth and to serve Him by serving those in need. This year is going to be a year where I am going to learn to trust God with everything that I have, have faith in Him and grow spiritually with Him. I have learnt so much about God these 4 weeks of training that it's going to be amazing to learn much more about Him on this year journey.
