First Journal Entry

Hi all so this will be my first entry ever and I don't know wear to start. So much has happend but most of it can not be put into words, my journey with Jesus has been a long one but the past month I feel that I have only just scratched the surface of it. My emotions has been on a rollercoaster up, down, left and right but yet feeling closer to God like I never felt before. Thank you Jesus!

I still have a lot to learn in my quiet time and journey with God, and my new and amazing friends who were strangers just 25 days ago, are now unbreakable family. I can't explain the feeling but I love each and ever one of them and as our journey continues we are going to get even closer. We will spend time In the Word of God and grow together and really have an impact in each others lives.

In my quiet time today a verse really spoke to me it was in Ephesians 2:8-10 AMP where it said.:

"For it is by grace [God’s remarkable compassion and favor drawing you to Christ] that you have been saved [actually delivered from judgment and given eternal life] through faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [not through your own effort], but it is the [undeserved, gracious] gift of God;
not as a result of [your] works [nor your attempts to keep the Law], so that no one will [be able to] boast or take credit in any way [for his salvation].
For we are His workmanship [His own master work, a work of art], created in Christ Jesus [reborn from above--spiritually transformed, renewed, ready to be used] for good works, which God prepared [for us] beforehand [taking paths which He set], so that we would walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us]."

This really made me think that God knew I was going to be here and he prepared me for this through everything. I had to go through the really high but also the really low parts, it made me a stronger person and prepared me for much greater things, Thank you Jesus!
