Driftwood

Wow what a month! The first couple of weeks in training have already been an  adventure in its self and I have so many amazing story's, revalations and testimonies to share. I don't have much time now but I do want to share one idea that has been pressed on my heart for this year and for the future. We are called to be driftwood.

A piece of driftwood has no controll over where it ends up. It brakes off a tree or crate or ship or whatever its origins are, finds its way into the ocean and randomly bops around in the waves untill it gets washed up somewere.

This is how God calls us to live. He calls us to brake away from any tipe of "security" that keeps us anchored to earth and fall into Him, to let Him be the current that shapes us and moves us to where ever He wants us to be.

This is my hope especially for the year that  lies ahead. That my we might completely stop trusting in flimsy earthly securities and fully rely on God to takes us to where He wants us and to provide for us. I can promise you, the adventure that awaits this tipe of lifestyle is mind blowing. You meet people and arrive at destinations that you would never expact. You see God providing in ways that are unimaginable and out of these you get to testify about His greatness.

I hope that we all might experience something of being a piece of driftwood in the ocean that is God this year :)
