The King and I

I remembered so good the day I watched the movie, and thinking: How can a king make so much effort to build relationship with a servant? And then I came to Malaysia – and this is what I found… Serving in a school the Lord had a very specific plan for me. We served from the morning to night, being part in different things and serving in ways that was far above what I thought I could do!!!

The Lord taught me out of Rom 8:1 – 17 and I want to share that with you…

* ASSURANCE that there is no condemnation in Christ (v1)The Lord’s grace is more than sufficient for me and my sins are forgiven if I confess them with my whole heart. His AMAZING GRACE has saved ME! * LIVING according to the Spirit and not to the flesh (v4 – 5)I can only be alive and well if His Spirit is within me. It is sooooo easy to became discontent when circumstances is not perfect. But, through His spirit we are able to carry on and serve unconditionally. * Having LIFE and PEACE (v6)What does it mean to have a meaningful life? When you have enough money, material things, lots of riches – or is it when non of the above is part accept having GOD? * PLEASING God (v8)If I delight in my Lord, I know that He will grant me the desires of my heart. If I obey, He will be pleased as a father is pleased when his child is not going against His will… * Walking as heirs of God (v14)What a privilege to be called heirs of God!!! And for we are the heirs of God – He will reveal His secrets to us!!! * ABILITY to go through suffering (v17)Serving is not always as it seems – especially when my body is tired and when its extremely hot. But if the Lord is busy – He will keep you going. Therefore the Lord truly showed me this month that He desires a true living relationship with me and that He sees me as the Queen sitting next to Him!!!
