When we get so caught up in die patterns o this world, God sometimes need to issolate us in order to speak into our lives.
What better place than Masaiti (meaning place of issolation) in Zambia.
Since the challenge to get from Pretoria to the FCE base in Masaiti, God's been teaching and showing me so much. With the
focus on God
and Rom.12v2, I've come to realise how easily we fall into the pattern of this world. Our thinking patterns
become more and more worldly and then we try to fit God into this pattern as well. We trust on our own insights, loosing
focus of Him.
We try to serve Mammon and God, even though he tells us that it's not possible! We forget who this God of
our's is - the Almighty, all powerful, ever present , Great I Am! The Father who provides in every need of his children.
The One to whom everything belongs.
We become proud: thinking God needs us, that we're better than others. We fall into religion - becoming like the rest of
the world, fitting in when we're suppose to stand out. God loves us so much, He gave his only Son for us. He desires a
relationship with us and we become unfaithful and trade Him for the things of this world. This is but a few things He has
been showing me the past 10 days.
It's been said that after a year like this one's ruined for the ordinary.
I think I've always known that of my life, God
just now made me realise it. I'm excited about the journey ahead and even more excited about the relationship I'm in with
the Lover of my soul, Jesus Christ! Please keep me in your prayers as God prepares me for what is still to come.
Rom.12v2 "Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you
will be able to test and approve what God's will is - his good, pleasing and perfect will."
