The power of our testimony

The 3 weeks we had in New Zealand was amazing. Spending time with my host-parents from last year and the youth from the Afrikaans church was a privilege.

I could see the hunger they have for the Lord and how much they really need Him. It was encouraging for me to share with them what the Lord has done in my life and how faithful he has been. By sharing with them, these experiences became a part of my life and not just another story. I underestimated the power our testimonies have and the responsibility towards others to tell them about the work of God. For me it might be an old story but it can change the life of another person.

The Lord challenged me to love and serve the " Kiwis"  unconditionally and show them His incredible love and grace that is free every day.

My prayer is that the people in New Zealand may grow closer to God and live a life worthy of the calling He has planned for them.

"Then do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me, His prisoner. But suffer hardship with the gospel, according to the power of God, the One having saved us and having called us with a holy calling , not according to our works,  but according to His own purpose and grace given to us in Christ Jesus before eternal times.."

2 Tim 1:8-9

Blessings
