CHINA - by Marizy Morkel
The past week I was confronted, ones again, by the reality of the lost souls in this world. Our fellow brothers and sisters, for who Jesus also died on the cross and loves dearly, have been blinded by a false religion and the tradition of following Islam.
People that we face on the street, serving us at the local restaurant, sell fruit and fresh bread at the market and unlock our hotel rooms with a smile. All of these people are friendly, helpful, serving, generous, unselfish and kind, but are they saved? The most important question we have to ask is,¡± Are they saved and do they know the real God?¡±
The sad part is, although they are friendly, serving, generous and have all the ¡°characteristics¡± of Christ, if they do not follow Jesus Christ and have a living relationship with Him, they will not enter an eternal life but will perish.

We have been staying in a small Chinese town for the past week that consist of 70% Islam followers. Everywhere you see people wearing their white ¡°hats¡±, from small boys to old men, young girls to elder women. They pray regularly at the Mosques and devote their whole life to this ¡°god¡± that is false and unable to fulfill their needs. It breaks my heart to know that all of them, the kind ones, the friendly ones, the generous ones and the people I have come to love, will not enter eternity.
WHAT IS GOD ASKING OF US?
Look around you. The people you work with, the people you live with, the people you face on the street and even your family. Are they friendly, serving, generous and kind? They probably are and even more, but¡ are they saved? Will they have eternal life or perish into the ever burning hell. All these ¡°nice¡± characteristics will not give them a place in heaven. The only way is through Jesus Christ and having a living relationship with Him. Loving Him, serving Him, proclaiming His miraculous works and¡ laying down your life for Him.
"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord" Romans 6:23
