Well, it’s been half a day in Hong Kong and I’m just astounded at everything I see around me: huge malls, massive buildings with nature at the backdoor and LOTS of people going about with their daily lives as we all do…And then I think to myself: everyone has their own story, their own worries and their own pain. This is where Shin Mun Springs in Hong Kong plays a big role in the support of providing people with a safe haven to encourage them to take hold of their lives and experience a new life like no other. This place will be our ministry for the next few days, working with young people who come to detoxify and learn about Jesus. We will be helping in any way we can and so I’ll keep you posted…!We met a very friendly woman on our way to the plaza and it was cool just to be able to tell her what we believe, without hesitating…I truly hope this is the beginning of an awesome journey to do God’s work and pouring out His love on people who just need it – like we all do.Oh- and we did have a birthday boy on our team today and so it was decided that the whole team should sing “Happy Birthday” at the top of their lungs in a train compartment on the way to Customs at the airport…I’m sure he’ll never forget it. We also made him a “Lucky Combo Packet” full of goodies and a card – a Hong Kong birthday in a million!I’m excited about what’s to come and how I can be that instrument I was talking about in my previous blog…now the written words become reality!Until next time – ciao!
