It is time share what has been on my heart for a few week now.... the question i have been aking myself is where do i begin and how do i put into words what i have experienced...
For the last couple of weeks i have been asking God to show me what it means to know Him and to Really understand who He really is... In Phil 1v29 it says "for it has been given to you on Christ's behalf not only to believe in Him, but also to Suffer for Him." This made me realise that we Really Have to Suffer for Christ and be prepared to say "OK Lord if it is so that I need to die for you, than let it be." it is easy to say it but to think about it and to put yourself in that situation the Question still Remains are WE REALLY PREPARED?? This is where we have to Love the Cross, because without Christ we don't know God and therefore we cannot get to know God...
Matt 6v21 says " for where your treasure is, that is where your heart will also be." so in other words our treasure needs to be the Cross so that we Can know who the God Almighty is...
Knowing God is so important and such a revelation came to me....
The Cross is not just about our salvation but also about The Love... we can reject Christ but He never stops loving us! the love that is at the cross is not just about the love between You and Christ but it's the Ultimate Gift between 2 people.
God is a Fearing God, He is Just, He is the Love that we all desire....
we must Just sit humbled before God and die to ourselves (fleshly) so that God can come and reveal His Ultimate Love to us, we must not be too hasty to hear from Him but we must wait patiently and He will reveal many things to us...
Be still and know that I AM GOD....
love is Fireproof but it does not mean there will be no fire.. Love is difficult and God loves us so much that HE gives us the choice whether to love Him or not...
Deut 6v5 says " love the Lord your God, with all your heart, all your soul and all your strength...."
I hope all of this comes out as clear to you as it has to me...
