hey hey
its been such a while, but God has been taking us an awesome ride....
well where do i start.....
leaving Thailand for me was extremely difficult because in the beginning of our time in Thailand i was not mentally or emtionally preapared yet but i prayed and really pressed into prayer and i asked God to come and show me His love for the Thai people and i asked what was the reason that i was in Thailand and where or how should i help out...
so the first evening we where in a team meeting and Sally said that there are teachers that are needed in Thailand at the community centre to help out with the people in the town to improve their english... so i was keen but then i thought come on lynnz you cant you just got out of school... so i just kept my thought inside and kept quiet and then to my suprise Sally said oh Lynnz you can also help out because you are english.... i was really shockd and stressed out...
so that night i prayed and i was clueless to what i was going to teach the Thai people and i was scared they would not understand me... but the Holy Spirit guided me in every class and it was encouraging at the end of my time there to actually have the ablity to speak and have a conversation with my class... the students in my class improved so much and i know that i did not teach them on my own ablity or strength..... saying good bye in Thailand was so difficult for me i cried to say Good bye and a part of me wanted to stay behind and just be with the people that blessed me in such an awesome way...
haha but yep i guess this is going to be the process this entire year and the years to come because once you ask You shall recieve.....
we left thailand and overlanded to Malaysia stayed in Malaysia for a few nights and than we started our journey for China.... we flew about 4 to 5 hours on a plane to Chian from Malaysia than we planned to sleep on the airport but that plan did not come to pass, we climbed into taxi's and we got out at a train station and it was already so late so we ended up sleeping on that train station, the next morning we got onto the train and travelled for about 2 hours and got off at a train station again . than we had to wait for this train until the next morning... so we ended up sleeping on that train station as well.... so at about 8:30am we climbed onto a train again and travelled for 33 hours.... now that train ride was extremely interesting i think most of us caught cabin fever haha..... but it was a fun experience...
so FINALLY we in china and it so different here to what i had in mind... the people are different, the food is extremely tasty and somewhat very interesting ... but i will try my best to keep you updated about China and the amazing work God is doing here.....
this passage has been on my heart for a while...
Phillipians 1v27&29: "live your life in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ, than whether i come and see you or i am absent i will hear about you that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind, working side by side for the faith of the gospel. ......... v29 for it has been given to you on Christ's behalf not only to believe in Him but also to suffer for Him."
i just really want to encourage you to please think about this verse and pray about it... it means alot to me because are we really prepared to say to people here i am and i am so ready to suffer for the one Almighty even if it means ending my life....
God is GOOD all the time and all the time GOD IS GOOD....
