Northbound 2014 – Wall Breakers

India project

A long, long time ago… (7 weeks) 11 strangers met each other on a mysterious Friday afternoon. They started training with a backpack and their nametag. It simply read – student… (Insert name).

In 2014, 4 teams are sent out to love, serve and encourage the people in the nations. Every year each team has the opportunity to start and to complete a project. Northbound 2014 has the privilege to restore the outside of an orphanage.

An L shaped building with just a few rooms – a home to almost a 100 children. These beautiful children’s home needs a big facelift! Our mission this year is to break some walls down so that we can rebuild them. We also want to paint these walls. Just like Jesus colouring our grey hearts, we want to bring some colour to this building. We need to brighten some futures!

As we step out in faith, trusting the Lord for these funds, you can be part of it! We currently need R25000 to cover all of the expenses. The finances cover extra labour, the cement, sand, sanding paper, paint and a set of clothes for each child.

DURATION OF PROJECT: 2 weeks. We need to be finished within the following +- 2 weeks.
