God amazes me almost everyday even when I doubt him. He gave me my dream job working as a doctor at Zithulele, a rural hospital near Mthatha, for about 2 years. I absolutely loved the opportunity to serve my community and support my family which is very important to me.
Then at the end of 2016 I felt God calling me to travel with Global Challenge Expeditions for the whole of 2017. I struggled with this because it was against all the plans I had made for myself. I planned to move to Port elizabeth to specialise and settle down. And what was worse for me is that this meant i could not support my family.
I really doubted God's plans and I tried everything in my power to get my way but God closed all other possible doors. I told my parents and they said: "No I can't go, because they needed the income." I also felt it would be very selfish of me to go to other countries leaving my family to struggle. I prayed and told God about my problems and why I couldn't go. He assured me that Global was where He wanted me to be for 2017. And so I applied with all my doubts included.
Then God surprised me by blessing me with R90 000 to pay for my global year and i needed R89 000. He also provided for my family for the whole year which includes my brother's college fees. And He didn't stop there, He also gave me some money to try and start an orphanage at Zithulele village where I worked before. Now all we are praying for is the land. I have no words to describe my gratitude to God and all those that obeyed Him to help me to make this possible.
