The Aussie Adventures

Work Your Way has truly had a blessed time in Australia so far.

We spent most our time at Mountain Trails Adventure Camp, where we helped out with Kids Camps by leading different activities such as:

Archery

Horse riding

Abseiling

Caving

and dirt biking!

We also did some other work projects with probably our biggest being building a Round Yard for the horses. That included some cutting really big trees down with a chainsaw...

And then debarking them, putting posts into the ground and then using some threaded rod to set all the railings up (as seen below).

We also led the focus sessions at the kid camps(almost like church).

It was really amazing seeing how the Holy Spirit grabbed some of the kids hearts in these sessions. But what was probably thee most amazing thing to me, was how the famous quote "Preach the gospel, and if necessary use words" was confirmed, when children told us that the reason they chose Christ was that they could see Christ in us by the way we live throughout our daily activities.

Throughout our time at Mountain Trails, we grew really close to the staff and volunteers there, and it was amazing to share, learn, and experience things with all of them. They have truly been an amazing blessing for us.

What I also really enjoyed, was meeting up with an old school friend, in Melbourne, of all places!

While serving at Mountain Trails,  our team got turns to go and work on sheep farms, doing Lamb Marking. It is really really hard work, but still a great experience and great fun. We all spent about two weeks doing that. The people we worked with is also amazing God serving people and we really learned a lot from them.

Our team also went for 4 days to Bourke, a mostly Aboriginal community in the outskirts of the outback, to serve at a church there. What an amazing experience that was! Pastor David from Yass and his wife, Nanda, and our dear friend Clint from Mountain Trails also went with us. Was really great having them with us and lerning from them. We had 4 church services we had to lead in these 4 days. Absolutely amazing things happened. I personally experienced the Holy Spirit's fire in an much deeper level during one of these sermons. It was a night to remember!

Currently we are in New Castle and will be leaving for New Zealand at the end of the month.

Tah mates!
