dont give the childrens food to the dogs

If you where a street dog or even just without a home you will eat anything you can find just to be fed. You will go looking for food in the dumpster or in the field or just chow the crumps lying around.  So this made me think... how much wills I give or how Far will I go to get spiritual food. What will be the measure to be gained my daily bread of life...?

(Mat 15:21)  Then Jesus went thence, and departed into the coasts of Tyre and Sidon.

(Mat 15:22)  And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou Son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.

& nbsp;

(Mat 15:23)  But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying; Send her away; for she cried after us.

(Mat 15:24)  But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

(Mat 15:25)  Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me.

n

(Mat 15:26)  But he answered and said, it is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs.

(Mat 15:27)  And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table.

(Mat 15:28)  Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.

After reading this it made me think even more. How hard will you shout to be heard over hundreds of people who want to talk to Jesus? To what measure will you go to get close to Him and let Him take controlee over your troubles or problems?

These women had a daughter who was possessed and that was enough and her survival instincts kicked in and had to fight her way past hundreds of people just to get near Him. Even when the disciples said get rid of her she kept fighting and pushing. Till the point she felt to her knees in front of Jesus and begged Him to help her.  Then His response is I didn’t come for you but for the lost ... how that make you feel will. Then He says, it is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs.

What does that mean? Did He call her a Dog, No?

But Jesus being the bread of life and it comes down to this that the word of God is not just given out. Like the parabola of the sewer some seed fall on good ground and some on rocky ground and others in weeds

So we shouldn’t take the word of God lightly and we must obey His commandment.

Then her response was the thing that made me think

Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table.

That no matter what it is a dog will eat it when it’s hungry.

To what measure will you go to receive a word from God? How far does God have to push you before you humble yourself before Him and ask forgiveness of your sins? What if all the things you store up on earth is being destroyed tomorrow, will God be enough for you. Will you still ask Him for your Daily bread (of Life) daily? The word says Man shall not live by bread alone but from every word of God.  Why do we acts like dogs and retune to our vomit...our sins those things that make us sick. Why do we keep on doing those things that break our relationship with God and make us feel sick afterwards?

So to what extend will you go to receive a word from God to give life or strengthen you in those times of trouble. Don’t let the crumps fall to the ground.

Make every word of God count – share the Good news to those who are hungry
