Life line...

well at the camps of Bosnia I took the people up the canyon for a hike and some abseiling and  just saw this vision of Christ life and how we as Christians should live.

well God is the anker point. rope, that is Jesus is connected to the ankerpoint and runs all the way to eternity. we are warring a harness that is the safety with a figure8 to let the rope run through. the harness is our church that support us and protect us. the figure8 are the people groups we move in, friends, family and so on.

now if you hold on to the rope you are safe and can move down safely, but as soon as you let go you fall into the darkness and its very hard to get up and find your footing. but when you are holding on to Jesus,if you fall, you will not fall into darkness, but you will easily get back on your feet and stable yourself. after recovery and holding on to Jesus you will have a open hand to help up others.

as we as people start out on our life journey the road looks cool but though and bumpy. as we start moving we start thinking ... man what where I thinking. as we get to a rock face/ obstacles in life we say ...i can do this, its not for me... but after some motivation and support you start taking up the challenge and achieve the goal, reaching the top of the mountain you feel invincible and so good. now you have a much nicer view of the world and what is in it.

now its time to trust in Jesus and rely on Him not your own abilities of life. to make a choice of total surrender and  trusting Him for support. that is when you realize that God is enough .

so go and look at where you are on the mountain and on what are you hanging. do you have your support and are your safety line secure.
