I don’t know what was most difficult at the airport: to pass the security check, or the self esteem of the American government officials. Anyway, after almost 4 hours we left the airport. We drove straight to Miami beach – my expectations from what I’ve seen in the movies were met. Here we each ate one of the biggest hamburgers made in the history of mankind while overlooking the palm trees and walkways occupied by rollerbladers every now and then next to the beach. Although we slept on our camping mattresses, the apartment fit right in with the rest of Miami – Hennie remarked that the two TV’s were as big as his garage doors. The next day some of us went back to the beach to relax in the sun, while others chose the apartment as relaxing surrounding. At 13:00 it was time to go back to the airport.
