Walking with God #1

God told Abram: “Leave your country, your family, and your father’s home for a land that I will show you." Genesis 12:1 MSG

Walking with God starts with a simple 'yes'. Everything else is provided in the journey. You just don't know when or how. Soon you start to learn that you walk by faith and not by sight... With the world's eyes we are blind, but now we truly see.

Coming to Global Challenge was much like this. I heard the Lord speak and I chose to obey. What lies before me now, I do not know, but the Lord will show.

God has invited me on an adventure to get to know Him as my friend. My heart is overwhelmed and filled with awe. It feels like I time traveled back to the days of Jesus and I get to be one of His disciples. The disciples never knew that when Jesus called them, that one day they will call nations that they do not know. Jesus said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you become fishers of men.” (Mark 1:17). Oh, to be Your friend my God...

The journey I will embark on is called Westbound. We, as a team, will travel to the South America's and Middle East. We will GO, SERVE and SHARE the gospel with the following nations: Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Chille, Bolivia, South Africa, Russia, Greece, Macedonia, Kosovo, Jordan, Israel and Turkey. What a privilege to go to your people God.

Here we go, Jesus! Give me ears to hear and eyes to see. You lead and I will follow.
