The Southbound 2011 team have all returned home now or onto new journeys the Lord has called them into for 2012 and are all walking the daily challenge of putting into practise the faith lessons learnt throughout the year, amidst old ways of life with
family and friends. Here the real challenge begins...!
So this is our official southbound team farewell blog of 2011, and we invite you to join us on the challenge- to come away with us and celebrate what God has done in our lives this past year and to continue the journey of growth in our individual walk with the Lord through prayer. In the words of Gerherd, ‘if Christ be anything, He must be everything...’
10-11I gave up all that inferior stuff so I could know Christ personally, experience his resurrection power, be a partner in his suffering, and go all the way with him to death itself. If there was any way to get in on the resurrection from
the dead, I wanted to do it." We want to thank you, our supporters, family and friends, for an incredible year. It’s such an amazing feeling to go and then return home knowing you’ve had loved ones praying for you all year and supporting you through thick and thin. We could not have got through this year without your support. We give all the glory to God for His love and grace- it’s all because of grace- and continue walking in faith the journey He has laid before each of us in this next stage of life with Him. That is our challenge to you today! Come
away with us and join the daily life altering challenge of loving and living for Christ! ‘Come away with Me, Come away with Me
Philippians 3:7-11 (MSG)
strong>7-9"The very credentials these people are waving around as something special, I'm tearing up and throwing out with the trash—along with everything else I used to take credit for. And why? Because of Christ. Yes, all the things I once thought were so important are gone from my life. Compared to the high privilege of knowing Christ Jesus as my Master, firsthand, everything I once thought I had going for me is insignificant—dog dung. I've dumped it all in the trash so that I could embrace Christ and be embraced by him. I didn't want some petty, inferior brand of righteousness that comes from keeping a list of rules when I could get the robust kind that comes from trusting Christ—God's righteousness.

It's never too late, it's not too late
It's not too late for you
I have a plan for you
I have a plan for you
It's gonna be wild
It's gonna be great
It's gonna be full of Me
