Fusagasuga Project Update & Prayer Support

To our supporters, family and friends of the Southbound team, Greetings from Bogota Colombia! As we write this we are getting ready to depart for Peru this morning via, Leticia, Iquitos, Lima and then to our final destination of Chiclayo by Friday. God has been faithful in meeting our needs so far and although we don't have the finances as yet to complete the whole trip without some hitching and faith journeying, we are trusting God to provide the rest of our needs in abundance (1 Cor 4:2; Matt 25:21)! Proverbs 10:22 was given to us as a team for our journey to Peru and we are walking in this by faith!

 Just a quick update on our Fusagasuga Project from the New Tribes Mission camp. We were based there for 2 weeks working on maintenance and a number of different projects in our small teams. Yellow team finished the drainage system they were working on by rerouting and also fixed a sewage piping system;

Blue team completed their drainage work and rerouted a number of drains to the main drainage area; and Silver team completed their 35m + fence with 12Ft high concrete posts and barbed wire fencing...all the teams also worked on the soccer field drain which was also finished on our last day there! Just to let you know why prayer was such an important issue- we worked on these projects in the rain, mud, sun, more rain and lots more mud (!) the entire time we were there! What seemed like impossible tasks for us to complete in such conditions, was nothing for God!

Matt 21:21-22- 'Jesus replied, "I tell you the truth, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this moutain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and it will be done. If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.'

Amazingly, over R 2000 was given towards the projects! This was above and beyond what was needed to support the individual teams projects, and so we were able to leave the rest as an offering of blessing towards New Horizones work in Fusagasuga and specifically to help with the continued running of the camp. We want to express our sincere thanks to all our supporters, friends and family who helped us not only financially but also through prayer during our time here in Colombia. We are very blessed to have such a support system from our home bases, while we travel around.

Philipppians 1: 6- ...'He that began  good work in you will complete it to the day of Jesus Christ...' We have full faith and assurance that the work God has started in and through us here in Colombia will be carried into completion- God is at work in N.T.M and what an amazing privilege it has been for us to be apart of it in a small way. Until we write& nbsp;to you from Peru-
God Bless, Southbound team
