Fence of Love

In a community broken by neglect, insecurity, poverty and lack of parenting and opportunity, children are in need.  One in two children in the area are impacted by the effects of HIV/AIDS. As a result, children are deprived of their basic childhood needs.

In the Transkei there is an opportunity of hope that

YOU CAN

be a part of.

Starting on 3 February 2011, over the period of 10 days, Global Challenge South Bound team will launch the "Fence of Love" Project to impact the community of Transkei, South Africa, and provide a safe haven for the children of Coffee Bay Christian School.

The local boarding school currently has no security or way of protecting the children during school hours.  Thus, this requires that a fence be built around the entire area. This will provide an opportunity for the local children to reach their full potential in a safe and secure environment, where they can learn to play, live and be loved.

Please join us by investing in the future generation of rural South Africa by sponsoring and "Play-a-role, Buy-a-pole".
