I want to start this by thanking everyone who supported us, financially and spiritually. This would not have been possible without all your support!! We definitely felt all the prayers and that was what made me still stand in very hard times.
Summarizing this Tibet experience in one sentence: God's love for His children and moving mountains to prove it.
This journey actually started in July when one of the team members had a dream. She shared this dream with me and told me we will go to China. I didn't believe her and said it will be impossible, just because I knew what our budget is and how hard it is to get visas for China, especially in another country.
I received an email when we were in Nepal with contact details for a family in Tibet. The friend that sent this email didn't know that Tibet wasn't part of Nepal, but part of China. But this was all part of God's big plan!
So with all of this we sent out emails for urgent funds to go to Tibet and God was definitely faithful and we had all the money the Friday when we had to pay. So with this all we knew we had to go to Tibet, never really knowing why. So as we started our travels to Tibet we still continued to seek God about our time. So when we would arrive in the town where we would sleep, we would go and prayer walk through the streets. So this was so powerful and I believe it contribute to the work God is doing there.
So on the 3 October we arrived in the town where the family were. We were so excited to see them and then couldn't meet them that day and decided the evening to start praying for this family. This was were God touched me so much and i was completely overwhelmed!! I had a dream previously on the trip and that night God showed me the meaning of this dream and it gave me the answer of why we were there.
God told me that evening that our only reason to go to Tibet was to show His children that He love them and that they are not forgotten. That was our message to the Missionaries we met. That is our Fathers love for His children. that He would give us more than $6000 to come and love on His people. That is love and that overwhelm me still today...
So we met our missionaries the next day and spent limited time with them, but that was fine. I had to take out of my mind how much this journey cost, and saw the love of the Father being more than any earthly thing. So take time and listen to the song by Jesus Culture "How He Loves Us So."
With this info, may we pray more for the missionaries in closed countries and be more aware of the work they do. So I go back to South African (eventually) remembering them, the work they do and continuing to pray for them. God does not forget His children, so may we not forget His children and our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ.
So with this I go into our last month and country, knowing God is not done with me yet and also not done with you yet!!
