Greetings from Sao Paulo

On our arrival in Brazil, the group split in two and the green team being Chris, Daniel, Henk, Curtis, Cherelda, Mari', Kotie-Alet and I had the amazing priviledge to spend a week in 5th largest city of the world: Sao Paulo, the city of vibrant street art, great pasta, a lot of pao (bread) and friendly people.

We were welcomed with open arms and from the start it felt like home. We had some time to rest after suffering a bit from jet-lag and just chill out with our hosts.

We spent the first few days at a house church, doing some street evangelism, worshipping together and exploring the streets of Sao Paulo with a group of mininas and mininos. The rest of the week we did some painting in the church; we were taken on a lovely tour , sightseeing the city for a day. The green team also

got to meet up with a youth group and some university students on two different occasions where we shared our testimonies,  prayed together and encountered the presence of Jesus. Another thing we got quite good at is eating. We were looked after so well and fed the whole time.

In the midst of all the fun and chill times our team was definitely in a spiritual battle where we experienced a lort of spiritual opression. So this week was also a time where we had to step out in faith and press through,. God is so faithful because everytime we felt unprepared the Holy Spirit guided us in what to say and what to.

It was such a blessing to witness the passion and fire with which these people serve God.

Once again it is time to say goodbye to dear friends and gor some new family. But we are excited to see what

God has in store for us next.
