The country where your heart gets torn in two, and your soul cries out “Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?".(Matthew 27:46)
This Hindu-colony with its pack of gods, “Father, Father, forgive them, for they know not what they are doing.”(Luke 23:34)
Where colonialism's deep, raw, wounds are still festering and the demonic-gods are indulging them in the hopelessness of this colony's ants.
This is indeed an exotic colony, with exotic beings.
If I think back to the three weeks I spent in India, I think of a tremendous number of mosquitos, the zooming of lots and lots flies around rotten food, human and animal dung and a place where one nearly dies of heat exhaustion. In contrast, I can say it’s a country where you start to LOVE, you see children's faces lighting up, friendships form and your heart begin to change for nations.
India is indeed not for the faint in spirit, and The Father changes you to the deep inner of your being by bringing you here. Your body, soul and spirit change and you think a lot more differently about people and society; your perspective on the value of life, changes more and more, as you think and meditate over a three week period. Life is a precious gift from The Father.
Indeed it is Jesus Christ (who gives life to death,) who is the precious gift of God the Father, and who could be the WAY, the TRUTH and the LIFE to these people and these nations. I PRAY that nobody, if he or she has to make a decision for Christ, will choose death, but will choose Jesus who is the Bread of Life!

The roaring noise of the trains and the last sound of a train departing, awakens a sleeping Hindu priest.
A very kind Indian man brings him his morning tea, as if the God of Heaven and earth is not watching over him.
Still very sleepy, he packs all his belongings neatly. First wrapping his head with an orange headband, then folding all his linens and his ground-cover, taking his travel-kettle and his walking stick and journeys further on his pilgrimage.
Shumla.
In the Himalayas- the place where heaven meets earth-or should I say the place where heaven invades earth. India indeed has much beautiful fauna and flora; I could experience it first- hand while we were on an 8 hour trip travelling on a train from Kalka upwards, to a mountain range, to Shumla. The highlight of that 5 day expedition was when we walked up one of the mountains to the top to visit the monkey-god Hanumans temple. We enjoyed an extra-ordinary view of the mountains surrounding Shumla. But all good things must come to an end, and we had to get back to Dwarka.

Jeremiah 51:46, 47 NIV
“Do not lose heart or be afraid when rumours are heard in the land; one rumour comes this year, another the next, rumours of violence in the land and of ruler against ruler. For the time will surely come when I will punish the idols of Babylon; her whole land will be disgraced and her slain will all lie fallen within her.”
There shall be showers of blessing:
This is the promise of love;
There shall be seasons refreshing,
Sent from the Saviour above.
There shall be showers of blessing,
Precious reviving again;
Over the hills and the valleys,
Sound of abundance of rain.
There shall be showers of blessing:
Oh, that today they might fall,
Now as to God we’re confessing,
Now as on Jesus we call!
Showers of blessing,
Showers of blessing we need:
Mercy-drops round us are falling,
But for the showers we plead.
