Like in the movie Bubble boy, we as humans tend to live in a bubble, a space where we feel save and comfortable to live our lives. But we go in to defence mode and attack people when ever thay threaten our bubble. The same goes with religion.
My team and I had a recent encounter in Isrial with a fellow believer. What we thought would be a good evening with great conversation and food, it turned out diffrently. Throughout the night the follow believer said a couple of things that made some of us a bit uncomfortable and questioned his sayings. He was really persistent with his way of things and the things that are not right in the world.
He left in a hurry to the meeting he was already late for. I inparticular was a bit baffeled about what went down.
We as a team talked about it over dinner. In that time God showed me the analogy of a bubble. That when ever someone comes and attack or threathen our bubble we take offence and only think about the bad things and things you do not agree with. I realized in that moment we should burst our own bubbles and allow people to talk to us freely. We should take the information that was recieved and take that to God and talk to God about that. Ask God what should we learn what is relevant and not.
So go on an burst the Bubble and trust the Holy spirt to guide you and love all people. The unbelievers and especially our fellow believers.
