A certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple to ask alms from those who entered the temple; who, seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, asked for alms. And fixing his eyes on him, with John and Peter said, "Look at us."
So he gave them his attention, expecting to receive something from them. Then Peter said, "Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk."
And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. So he, leaping up, stood and walked and entered the temple with them - walking, leaping and praising God. And all the people saw him walking and praising God. Then they knew that is was he who sat begging alms at the Gate of the temple; and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him. - ACTS 3:1-10
I realized that we don't need money or gold or anything of the earth to give to others. All we need to do is to LISTEN to God and let the Holy Spirit lead you and tells you what to do.
The last couple of days a lot of people with different kinds of needs crossed my path. Needs for healing, prosperity, help against fear, help with exams, etc. I don't have anything to give them, but I realized that the only thing I can give that will make a difference, is God.
What does it take from me?!!
Only obedience, a minute (or less) and words spoken out of my mouth. I do not even have to think the words out. The Holy Spitit leads me and, like Jeremiah, I will have power in my tounge to say the correct words. It is not I who heal or I who give strength to people in need. I am only the vessel and God is the Almighty one who bring light and healing.
Next time you pass someone with an illness or someone that are depressed, don't just say: "Good luck to you", take boldness, strech your arms out and PRAY with them. Do it! You will feel the power of your words and the light poured out on that person's life!
Our God is GREAT! Holy is His Name!
Be blessed my friend!
