Healing the broken hearted.
2008 is the national year of prayer for the evangelical church of Bosnia I Herzegovina (BiH). They are trusting God for Prophesy, word of knowledge, and direction. And we here at camp have taken the torch on for the summer.
We have been at camp for over a month now having come throe two kids camps, teen's camp young adults and now busy with the highlight of them
all, Youth camp.
Focusing on prayer this year we have made it our aim to individually pray for and with each camper. It has really been respected, even thou not all of them are believers. Now for the youth camp we have kicked up some gears. We are going all out for 7 days. Committing to pray early in the mornings. Having and using our prayer tent, Exo 33:7. Personal prayer for individuals, in the small groups and after the evening message.
The theme for this years camps are Isa 61:1 The Spirit of the Lord Jehovah is upon me; because Jehovah hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; He hath sent me to heal the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound...
Today in group a girl shared her heart about her dad being physically abusive when drunk. But a good man when sober. It made me cry to think how a dad could hurt such a beautiful girl. We prayed with her and asked God to step into her
situation. We are trusting Jesus for complete healing of her heart and a miracle in her dads life.
Please pray with us that the youth of BiH will be set free of addictions. Heeled from injustices done to them and have a pure and open heart to accept Jesus as there saviour.
