Just want to say hi to every one that has been wondering where I’ve been and what I’ve been up to.
Well January had really kicked of very quickly and this is actually already February.
So the first week of Jan was preparing for the official start of Global Challenge eXtreme 2008 (GCX).
The second week was spent down at Jeffrey’s Bay with the GCX Team Leaders. Where we went through the basic expectations and outcomes for the ’08 Team. We did this with a hike along the Tsitsikama coast at Hakkervile. As we spent time together we shared with each other what God was saying to us about the year ahead. It became evident very quickly that this was going to be a wondrous year.
The third week was spent at Alabanza, our training facility in west Pretoria. There I
met the ’08 team for the first time and what a blessing to have been able to meet individuals that have been hand picked by God. The week was used specifically to equip the team with all the necessary information and skills they would need on the trip. God also made a point of it in making sure that each student was spiritually “serviced” before the journey. At the end of the 10 days they left very excited for Zambia. And I had that feeling that I could only describe as, when a parent sends their child off to military.
The forth week was spent with a wonderful friend from the states, Jessica. Road tripping, Pretoria Bloemfontein, Stutterheim, PE, Jeffrey’s, Cape Town.
The next Three months…
The next three months I will be in the Cape, Kommetjie. Where I will be attending a church planting experience (CPX) with All Nations. It is a discipleship-based project on the method Jesus used when He was on earth. We will be attending morning lessons with Floyd Mc Clung. Then spend the afternoon in the Ocean View community meeting and spending time with the locals.
I want to thank all my friends and family for their prayers and support.
Love
Anthony
