So the Luke 10 challenge started for Freddy and I, we had no idea where to go!
We walked about 6km out of town (called Hat Yai). We reached a hi-way where you can go to a town called Songkhla. We then just wanted to get to a beach and go for a swim. So we decided that Songkhla is the place we want to be (it was also God's plan). We arrived in Songkhla after a truck gave us a lift. Then another young guy gave us a lift all the way to the main beach, this was way out of his way but he took us anyway! What a guy! Then we arrived at the beach and went for a swim, we slept on the beach and woke up at about 6 o'clock at night. Freddy and I looked at each other and both of us knew that if we slept that night on the beach it would be okay, but we also knew that if we slept in bed's it would be totally of God! We started walking to nowhere...&
nbsp; We sat down at a small taxi rank thing. I started walking around and asking people if there isn't a church somewhere near...? Nobody understood what I was saying or showing/describing. I showed my Bible and everything! At this time I started to really get frustrated. I seemed to lose all my hope... After I had sat down the guy came back and told me in broken English that there is a church in town. He asked if he can take us with a bike but we had no money to pay him so he left. We then started walking in the direction he pointed of the church. About one kilometer later that same guy stopped and he said he will give us a lift us for free! I'm glad he came because it was about an 8min drive with lots of turns.
Finally we arrived at Songkhla church! We were welcomed as brothers although they didn't know us... We told them who we are and what we are doing and why. They gave us food ( it was wedding food because they just had a wedding) so we sat around a table while we just sharing and telling stories. Freddy and I looked at each other again and thought: THIS IS CRAZY AMAZINGLY AWESOME INSANE! The Pastor then said we can sleep at the new vision youth centre. They took us to the centre, it was a huge house! There were so many rooms! Two stories high...!
God just blessed us so much! We always had more than enough food and cool drink. We went to eat out almost every day! They even provided us with toothbrushes and toothpaste. The lady working at the house gave us lots of clothes to wear. We had a whole house just for ourselves. It's crazy to thing one moment we had nothing and the next moment we had more than enough! God is...everything.
We spent most of our time with our great friends: Ola, Ellen and Naomi. It was awesome just sitting and talking about faith and life till late night. I
learned so much from all of them. I will always remember me singing with all of them in church, although I can’t sing. We went with Ellen to a orphanage. We also went with them to their school where they teach for a camp and sang the South African national anthem! Fun Fun... We helped out at the centre where we stayed by cutting the grass and cleaning the soccer field in the back yard. Almost every day we played soccer with the local kids in the village in our back yard. Best of times.
We ate with people in the village and I just saw that those people have so little but they follow God 100%! They don’t care if they have to walk or if they can only eat twice a day or if they only have a few pieces of clothing. Their hearts are set on things that are true (Colossians 3:1).
The last Sunday we had church and it was about always being able to share the Gospel and being a evangelist. The pastor used us as examples, this was quite cool.&
nbsp; Then after that we had a huge Sunday lunch with the whole church! It was amazing to see that every Sunday the whole church enjoys a meal together. Then the pastor asked us if we could preach at the next service? We had about one hour to prepare. Freddy and I shared and after the sermon we prayed for the whole church individually. I TRUST THAT GOD WILL ANSWER ALL THE PRAYERS PRAYED THAT DAY. The church blessed Freddy and I with 1250 Baht, and 50 Australian dollars each! Amazing!

I just want to thank pastor Kamhaeng and his wife, Peter and his wife, Ola, Ellen, Naomi and the whole Songkhla church. I trust that this is only the beginning of Songkhla
church and Global Challenge doing things together. Pakad you're awesome!
I give all the glory to God. Please go and read Luke 10 and see how we did just what God told the people in that time, and that it is still applicable today!
Would you trust God to take over and provide for your every need?
