Changing reality

Once upon a time, in a land far away there was 2 little boats, a blue one and a red one. They lived happily in a their little port, occasionally going on great big adventures in the big blue ocean. One day...

...that started out like any other day, the biggest adventure ever happened. A big huge massive monster wave came that would change how they were remembered forever.

The little blue boat's skipper saw the big huge massive monster wave coming and tried to steer out to sea. The little blue boat didn't get very far, when it got swept up and carried inland. It passed a man with a little girl in his arms, he was able to hold onto the little blue boat. In the end, three people were saved.

The little red boat never saw the big huge massive monster wave coming. He was tossed and turned and briefly rested in the village lake, before being tossed further and causing more destruction and loss of life in the little village than any other boat during the tsuanmi.

My point? What is the effect that your reaction to llife's storms have on the people around you? Saving lives or death and destruction? This month I've been convicted of the power of my words and the effect it has on the people around me? Does it break them or build them up?

Is everything I do/say/think a reflection of Christ? How am I changing the reality of the people I go around with? Am I bringing them one step closer to Jesus?
