Cleaning out my closet

Spending time in the centre of Egypt was an interesting experience. Something I sometimes wish I could pull apart, study under a microscope and then put back together again as I please. It's like building a puzzle without first seeing the picture.

In the end I found comfort in seeing the church searching for God as much as I was. Longing to love Him more everyday.

I realised again the privilege of growing up in homes hearing the name of Jesus, whether in Egypt, SA or any other place. I saw and experienced courage and conviction under persecution and unfairness.

I also saw the evidence of miracles in Cairo at the Cave Church. I realised that I have to remember to look for God's miracles everyday, everywhere. They're there, He shows them to me, I just have to open my eyes.
