Luke 22

Then Jesus asked them,"When I sent you without purse, bag or sandals, did you lack anything?" "Nothing," they answered. He said to them, "But now if you have a purse take it, and also a bag, and if you don't have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one."

We had bags, BIG bags, and to be completely honest, nothing much else, except faith much, MUCH smaller than a grain of sand - nevermind a mustard seed. Well, I can't really speak for the rest of the Lime team, that's really just me. Oh me of little faith... (me, yea...same same but different).

My point is that God took the atom of faith that He had given me in the first place and He honoured that. He was amazing. Everynight we had a safe place to sleep, everyday we had food to eat and by the end of the 10 days we were living like royalty. Not to mention being serenaded by strangers with cookies.

All of us have childhood dreams, mine just happened to be smuggling Bibles Indiana Jones style (I realise that technically he never actually smuggled anything but well...), going to the moon (maybe for Christmas) and backpacking around the world (the trusting in the Lord bit was added when He turned my life upside down... in a good way.)

Thank you, thank you very much (Elvis voice).

Here's to my Dad, the best creator of the universe EVER & Ever & ever & ever.........
