The Lord sent us to Blimbingsari and we are so blessed to be here. God gave us a place to connect and encourage the people here. We are working/playing in an orphanage in Bali. We are working threw a lot of teachings and it opened my eyes to new things that will take with me thou life. The time gap between this blog and the previous blog was full of everything. Enjoy reading.
Looking back at our time in West Borneo in Sintang we had some great times and some hard goodbyes. It was fun to hang out with those people even thou we didn't understand each other most of the time. The pastor there was such an example of how a family should look like. They look so happy working together in the same ministry. I could just look at it the whole day. I also got a bit of a demonic attack there. My hands wouldn't release the other hand and my tones curled up and so forth. I kept on praying and so did Frikkie and Rueben, they were sitting next to me. Everything released from top to bottom. Later I had to go threw a deliverance session where I forgave people in my life that I thought I forgot about.
From Sintang we flew a bit South and then from there we took a bus to Bali. The bus trip was about 28 hours long. Luckily the people in Sintang booked a sleep liner for us so we had nice seats. The travel from Sintang to Bali was 52 hours and we used a plane, 3 buses, 2 taxis and a fairy. We should have taken a bike just for the fun of it.
God sent us to a place called Blimbingsari that is in Bali. We are working here in an orphanage. The staff really needed encouragement keep doing what they are doing. The orphanage is Christian based but 75% of the 87 children are Hindu. So they have to teach them that Jesus is the way, the truth and the life without forcing it upon them. It has been great fun to play with the kids. They long for people to touch them and play with them, so there is not such time as personal space. We had a project to build them a roof over there washing lines. God blessed us with the money to do that and we helped to build it. Every day there is a soccer game for the older people. The staff and people from the town come together and play 7 vs 7 games. We played there everyday.
The one day the kids invited me to there devotions before they go to bed. I didn't understand a word but it was so special. We sang a few songs and and read out of the Bible and then I got to pray for them. One of them might understood most of what I said but it was just a thing of connecting throw love.
