This blog is going to be one of the most difficult blogs to wright. We have seen so much and Gods work is everywhere and every day. I don’t know what to write, so let start with some background info. We left Canada after we had a TV interview, which will air in June or July. We landed in France and went back to London. We saw the queen, that was unexpected and then on to Jordan. It is a fun place to stay for the 2 days. The best thing was going to Petra! It is amazing!
I didn’t know exactly what it was until I came there. The time and effort it must have taken is what astonishes me the most. The whole town in homes dug into solid rock. The Tombs are over 40m high. Something that I truly enjoyed was making funny videos with Hanno. We were talking random junk on camera and joked around for a long while.
I am currently in the old city of Jerusalem. This is an amazing place. It doesn’t only look cool, it is the place where Jesus walked and where everything happened. This might have heard this from other people, but I did not think everything was this close together. Seeing Israel makes me understand the Bible so much better. Everybody says it, but I cannot help not to.
This morning on our way to too garden of Gethsemane, we saw the 3 different grave yards: The Jewish, the Islamic and the Christian’s. The Jewish grave yard is dry and dead. It looks thirsty. The Islamic graves are unclean and messy. The Christian graves are clean and the olive trees are green and there is even grass growing. It was an amazing moment for us, to see God in this. The difference it makes when you have Jesus as a saviour and when you don’t. It does not matter to a dead person how it looks around him, but God still takes good care of Christians once their dead. God ROCKS!
PS: I love you mom, Sorry I could not be there today. I would have loved to be there. You are an awesome mom and I couldn& rsquo;t ask for better. Xxx
O ja, Happy B day Anthony
