I GOT BAPTIZED!

I really didn’t think I was going to get baptized this year. I was baptized as a baby and thought of it as if it was something I could just tick off in spiritual journey. Throughout this year, up until now, God showed me what the baptism is really about. I have heard teachings and I have read the Bible but never took t to heart. God opened my ears and planted it into my heart that I should get baptized. So that was what happened.

First of all, I was baptized in a bottomless lake. It is not just something cool to say but God said that His love for me is like the lake, it has not bottom, it has no limit. So yeay, I got baptized in something God indirectly called a “lake of love”.
I have faith like a disciple on a boat in a storm, so I was pretty afraid that nothing is going to happen. I really didn’t want it to be just like when you go for a swim. So I asked God to please do something super natural. Before I entered the water I also asked God if He would give the Pastor a prophecy for me. Just because it would be cool and it looked like a good time to ask for it. If God didn’t give him anything it would not have bothered me.

So I went under the water and came back up. I started to cry when I come back up. I don’t think there were tears but I sobbed a bit. It went on for about 15 seconds. Then all of sudden I started to laugh, I couldn’t stop smiling. While the Pastor was praying for me I felt something on my shoulder. It felt like pins and needles, but not stinging just gentle. The Pastor prayed for me, blessing the teachings that will give. At the end of the prayer he said that he is not sure about the sort of teachings that I am going to give, but I must know that it is dangerous thing because judgment for the teachers is different. Little did he know that the plan for my life so far is to become a missionary-school teacher.

Later that night the Pastor showed us a picture of a glowing bubble like thing that is appearing in lots of their pictures. The cool thing is that when we looked at the photos from the baptism, there is a big one over the Pastor and me. There are also photos from different cameras, when Schalk got baptized just before me. They are surrounded be lots and lots of tiny bubble like things. I don’t have the photos with me now. But I will upload it at some point.
Guatemala overall was very fun and the teachings from the pastor was mind-blowing. Some days we had teachings from 10am to midnight. One of the first things we learned was that we know nothing! Now we know more that before, but also know that there is more that we don’t know. “If that all made sense” We did a lot of street ministry. We did spiritual treasure hunting and received a few things one of them was a foot the other was a back. So we went into the streets and found the 2 persons, one with a foot problem and the other one with a bad back. Needlessness to say, both got heals and praised God. We helped install concrete stoves and helped to build a house. The foot was great. God blessed us so much that we didn’t even have to make food some days.

Be blessed
