Are you content? (Cont.)

Since the robbery where some of my things were stolen, God continued to journey with me on the topic of being content. So i see this as the follow up of being content.

In Guatemala the pastor approached me and said that I will preach in his church the following week. This was quite scary, because he is so radical and I didn't know what to preach on. Then God just started telling me I should talk about what I went through and being content. With this God took me to different scriptures about contentment and just broke it open for me more. I shared this at church and my team could also hear this and ever since that, there was a change!
Then we travelled to Belize, knowing that is where we should go. This meant go more North, when we actually need to go south because our flight is from Panama (south). Belize is also the most expensive country in Central america, but we knew this was Gods plans for us.
So getting to Belize we knew It will mean eating oats 3 times a day to be able to 'survive' here. We also knew that it will mean 3 days of travelling to Panama by bus and to be in time to get India visas. But we took the step of obedience, knowing He will provide and Him knowing all our needs.
We as a team came to a point of being content and the only thing important was Gods will. Then God started blessing us with 3 meals a day that people in the church gave us and that in abundance.  People in the church also blessed us with toiletries, soap, toothpast and toiletpaper. God provides even in the small things!!
Then I felt the Spirit leading us to check for flights back to Panama, knowing this will be perfect for us. And yes, God blessed us with flight tickets that was in budget!! This allows us to be in Panama in time to get our visas and we don't have to travel by bus for 3 days.
Ps 131:1-2 "Lord, my heart is not haughty, Nor my eyes lofty. Neither do I concern myself with great matters, Nor with things too profound for me. 2  Surely I have calmed and quieted my soul, Like a weaned child with his mother; Like a weaned child is my soul within me."

So this should encourage you to be content and to see how God will bless you out of that contentment. But contentment comes form the heart, a pure heart. So I'll ask again, are you content??
