into training and the unknown

Update story:
When I last updated I told that we are going to do some school camp thing from the Tuesday till Sunday, but there was a surprise for us. After a nice hike with our backpacks we got to a area in the road where there were a roadblock and the theme to Survivor playing, yip it was Survivor time. The first challenge divided us in team and got us point to bid on start-up camp site boxes and no backpacks or goodies allowed. After that we were taken to our spots in the middle of nowhere to make our camps and get ready for the next challenge. Then we had a real survivor, 3 challenges per day for food, except when we had the food challenge (yeah for accidentally spoiled Amazi and dog food), till Friday morning. Then we went back to J-bay, had a much needed shower and then to one of the 3 Global Leadership Academy high school camps. Monday we had an off day and then we started sharing our life stories and with the God story and other solid training and some missionary story reading. Since i know it will make a lot of people happy I also shaved my hair yesterday morning so it is now short. Our journey is still not know as they are trying to get to a route that will fit in our budget. Only countries that we know of for sure is Peru and Cuba.

Update experience:
Survivor was very interesting to get to know some of the people that will be on the journey with me this year and experiencing them in different and trying circumstances. And it was great fun, what guy does not want to do survivor in the bush. The school camp broke my heart, hearing stories of the brokenness the kids are going through and seeing the damaging effects on them was very hard. The week of teaching was so good and since Sunday my heart was just so open and wanting to learn it really hit a spot. It has also exposed a few places in my life where healing and growth is still needed.

All in all it is going good, getting to know my team and learning more and more of God.
