The last and final update?

The long overdue update and thank you

Since it is a bit difficult to describe 2 years in a few word, and since I disappeared of the map for a while I will start with very short highlights. After the last country updates and some more.

Thanks: Thank for all the people who followed and supported me over the last 2 years

Future: The first 6 months of 2015 will be in Jeffreys Bay where I will be a full time volunteer at GCEX

Numbers: 2 Years, 5 continents, 33 Countries, 20 Flights (excluding SA), countless hours on buses including 3, 20h+ bus rides, too little time on trains and a 6 day boat ride.

Thank you all

So for those who missed it or are still wondering, I am back in SA, I have been back for a while, but very undercover. Thank you for all that supported, messaged me ect over the last 2 years. To those I have seen in my wanderings back in SA thanks you for seeing me on short notice. For those that have not seen me, I hope we will be able to get some time together in the future. I am in J-Bay for 6 months it is a good place to come and visit.

For everyone I met in the nations in the last 2 years and that are following me and getting updates, or following me on facebook, it is such an privilege to have met you and to have been able to spend time with you. Thank you for taking us in opening your houses and your time. I wish I would be possible to re-trace my steps and hang with everyone again, but the realistic probability of this is slim. (insert sad panda face)

Missing countries

So I see that my last blog was about the time in Kosovo that was in August. Since then we have been to Macedonia and Greece and had an early return to South Africa. I spend some extra time in J-Bay debriefing while the rest of the team spend some time in the Transkei at one of our contacts.

Debrief was a good time to tie up some things and a good time to catch up. Since then I was up in Johannesburg visiting my sister and was now almost 4 weeks in Cape Town.

Year summery and personal update

So one of my friends asked me about the lack of updates and then said it is ok because all of them sounded the same, if you read one you read them all. “It has been a difficult time, the place is cool, team had difficulties, I think it is going better”.

That sums up the year actually. (not saying a lot, but we will get there)

At the moment there is still a lot to work through and debrief of the last 2 years. I had many revelations in the time in J-Bay and even if it was a very difficult time it was a very good time. Knowing something and having a break through unfortunately does not always mean that the problem is addressed and in my case I still have some way to go. A lot of journeying to be done on the Father heart, worthiness and intimacy. Also had so much broken down and revealed on identity but we will see. The time off in Cape Town has been good, but some form of routine would be nice now.

Till next time

Fred
