Okay so a long time have passed since I have send any letter, things have been a little bit rough for me as a leader the last month or so. I knew it’s going to be difficult and tough leading a team but this is a new kind of tough.
It’s tough spiritually and emotionally, it kind of crept in unnoticed, very subtle at first.
Then suddenly boom!
It was just in my face, a huge tiredness just came over me while everything started to feel like its falling apart.
At that point it is when you need to hold on to God and ask Him for help and strength and wisdom and joy.
Easier said than done
You see the problem is in my sinful nature I always first want to sort things out in my own strength and take control of everything.
Yes that is a problem because first of all is that I am actually never in control and I never will be, God is in control of His complete creation.
(I don’t talk about self-control now, which we do need. 2Pe 1:6)
Yes it is sinful because Satan wanted to be in control when he rebelled against God, and he wants me to think I can do that in my own life.

I did pray and asked God to help me and give me strength ext.
But the prayer is not the thing, it’s the heart, I need to give it over.
It’s the same kind of thing when a person prays a prayer to acknowledge Jesus Christ in his/her life as his/her saviour but he/she never gives his/her life over to Jesus.

Again easier said than done
And right there is the problem, in the word “done”. I still want to do something to get it done.
And thinking I can do something just puts me back into a place of trying to take control
Yes being an expedition leader is tough but it is also fun and a huge privilege and I am growing day by day into who God is moulding me.
But that is enough about me.
God has really blessed us so much in Israel and Egypt.
Where things looked very difficult financially for us in that time God pulled us threw with sending people on our path that blessed us so much.
We worked in Bethlehem in a monastery and did some street ministry.
We met some awesome guys that are doing evangelism work in Jericho under the Muslims that we joined up with for a day.
As usual Israel is just an awesome country where we read the bible in 3D with visiting the places where it actually happened.
God kept us save right through Egypt where we were in the middle of the election time in Egypt. He send some awesome men of God that helped us allot, unfortunately I cannot mention their names. We visited a deaf school and worked on an oasis. We saw the pyramids. span>
We got caught sleeping on top of the Cairo airport roof by the airport police. They took our passports and did a background check on us with some interrogation but it was fun.
At the moment we are in New Delhi in India and looking forward to what God is going to do.
