India WYW feedback

God is good! The Work Your Way team and all the orphan children want to thank all the people who helped raising R19200 for the Work Your Way India orphanage project in Kottayam!
That was enough to finish the toilets the kitchen and some funds left to start with the wall between the girls and the boys.

Unfortunately the WYW team had to leave before the final works of the kitchen were completed but the funds were enough to get a professional builder to finish the last of the final works.

The team were a bit troubled in the beginning with the traditional south India building methods such as to build the buildings foundations only with packed “black rocks” and a small layer of concrete on top of that.

When the team started off with the construction, the team leader Frikkie had the privilege to lay the first cornerstone and with the rest of the orphanage and the WYW team prayed and thanked God for blessing the orphanage with a new kitchen and asked God that he will keep the building strong and that the food that will be made in the kitchen would not just be physical food but also spiritual food first to the children of the orphanage and that it will overflow in to the community and that Jesus will be the true Cornerstone.

The boys were very happy to get 4 new toilets as well and they were very eager to help with the construction and did very well.

The news spread like a wild fire into the community and it was not long before the international south India newspaper came to write the first of two articles of the work that God is doing in the orphanage threw the team from Global Challenge

The WYW team had a very blessed time at the orphanage and the children crawled as usual into their hearts when they played, performed dramas, gave teachings and prayed daily with the children when it all ended up with a very difficult “good bye& rdquo; as men and boys where holding back there tears to keep their ununderstood and unsubduable inherited pride as a man.
