So when you're traveling and don’t have a planned destination or any idea of how you're gonna get there, the best thing to do is just wing it! That’s what we did in the middle east, hitchhiking from one place to another and sleeping in abandoned buildings and weird beaches, asking soldiers for water and eating rice with way to much salt and then with way to little salt. We were eating too much chocolates and bread (that we got from nuns) and just generally getting to know each other more, building relationship together chatting about life and living the dream we all had to travel the world getting to test ourselves and getting lost and then found again (literally and figuratively) finding out what we're made off answering that question I think every boy has... can I do it ? Do I have what it takes? The extraordinary thrill of waking up in the morning knowing you just did something that most people in the world would never do or even think of doing. Talking to strangers about almost anything and the incredible joy of finally getting a ride after an hour or more of hitchhiking.
I guess studying and finding a job and getting married could be nice. The truth is we have no idea what we’re doing most of the time and we’re figuring things out for ourselves, pushing boundaries and getting stretched, making mistakes with actual consequence and learning from them. And i just think that is a pretty cool way to live too.
