The beautiful Sahara

Fulani town of Tanout in Niger

If we were all created

out of mere dust and sand,

the Sahara must be the palet

in God's creative hand.

Having tea with Saharawi people in the Western Sahara (Dakhla, Morocco)

Celebrating Magdel's birthday in the desert!

"For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour out my Spirit on your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants."(Isaiah 44:3)

The Southern borders of the Sahara in Niger

"He turned the desert into pools of water and the parched ground into flowing springs."(Psalm 107:35)

The Western Sahara in Morocco

Prayer requests for the Sahara:

  • Pray more Christians will be willing to do whatever it takes to bring Living Water to people living in the dry and barren wildernesses of the Sahara.

  • Pray desert dwellers, surrounded by God's amazing creation, will seek and receive revelation from the Lord. Pray they will find in Him all they need.

  • Pray for a political and religious solution to the conflict in the Western Sahara.

  • Pray that nomadic tribes, like the Saharawi, the Fulani, the Berbers etc, will use their nomadic lifestyle to spread the Gospel and the Good News to unreached parts of the Sahara.

  • Pray for more literature and media (especially the Bible and Jesus Film) in the indigenous languages of the Sahara.
