LOVE, LOVE, LOVE

Yes I know what you are thinking: “GP posted yet another blog.” O well, what can I say, I LOVE IT!!! ; )

Bringing it back to this blog. When You’ve felt neglected, rejected, USELESS, not worthy, lonely and all those other bad stuff I want to encourage you to start paying attention right about…NOW.

Last week I got the privilege of feeling and experiencing God’s love, BUT in a TOTALLY different way. Unfortunately, due to safety reasons, I can’t say anything about what I did or what happend exactly, but I’m asking that you will just trust the Lord that He will give you the feelings I felt when I felt His love. The only thing I will say though is that Syrian families are the most HUMBLE people I’ve ever met and I’m so so SOOOOO honoured to have met this specific family!!!

So we were just doing our daily tasks for that day and it was going to be a good day ( Don’t know why I thought that, but at the end of the day I knew why I thought that). When the morning shift ended it was time for lunch, but as soon as I arrived back I immediately needed to go on the next task for the afternoon shift. Truth be told I WAS EXCITED ( even though I had to swallow my food now and chew it later. ) I didn’t know why, but I was really, really, REALLY excited. So as we were busy, this specific family treated us with, guess what, LOVE!!! But not just any love, God’s love. It felt to me as if I was back in my own home in South-Africa.

As our time came to an end with the family I started to realise that this country is a country in need of INTENSE prayer ( And with intense I mean like NEVER STOP PRAYING intense!!! ) my heart started to long for that family and actually ALL the families that come from Syria. My heart was broken and I really wanted to go back to that one family and, like always, God provided and I went back and felt God’s love all over again, BUT I felt His presence more intensely than last time and I knew I had to come back.

So in conclusion my heart is broken to all the stories I’ve heard so far, BUT the thing that comforts me is the following: GOD IS ALWAYS FAITHFUL!!!

I want to reach out ( With a sore heart and tears in my eyes ) to all of you reading this blog to please PRAY FOR JORDAN AND THE SYRIAN FAMILIES WHO WERE AFFECTED BY THE WAR!!!

I pray 2 Thessalonians 3:5 over all of you and it says the following:
“MAY THE LORD DIRECT YOUR HEARTS INTO GOD’S LOVE AND CHRIST’S PERSEVERANCE.”
